Teach - Expert Instructors
For most returning citizens, the lack of a high school diploma is a significant barrier to employment and further education. S2S Educational Services addresses this gap through our comprehensive GED Preparation Courses. The program offers academic support for individuals seeking to earn their high school equivalency diploma. The S2S Educational Services program will meet in a hybrid format including: in-person, on-line, and independent study/ days and evenings available.

S2S Educational Services joins the collective efforts of all adult education programs in Maryland as they play a vital role in breaking the cycle of recidivism. This GED preparation program, along with literacy initiatives, is not merely teaching skills—we are offering a second chance. A second chance for returning citizens to reshape their lives, contribute to society, and inspire others.
Empower - Flexible Scheduling
Our GED program involves extensive support in math, a subject area challenging for most students. All clients will take a Learning Style Inventory along with a Qualitative Reading Inventory to determine what type of learner they are and to assess their literacy skills. As they matriculate through the 16-week GED program, all clients will have an opportunity to take a Career Inventory to align their learning styles and interests to complete a career mapping plan once they successfully complete the program.
We offer classes at various times (hybrid) to accommodate your busy schedule, including evenings and weekends, for 16 weeks and 100 hours minimum commitment. Improve - Comprehensive Curriculum
S2S Educational Services will use the data collected about the learner and create an Individual Academic Plan that outlines the specific course of action to teach clients skills and content. Clients will take Pre and Post CASAS Assessments in Reading (RLA), Social Studies (SS), Math (M), and Science Sci) as well as test-taking strategies.
Our courses cover all subjects included in the GED exam, including math, science, social studies, and language arts along with digital literacy support and career mapping. Clients have access to up-to-date study materials, practice exams, and test taking strategies, allowing them to track their progress and build their testing stamina and confidence needed to pass the official GED READY and official GED Subject Assessments.
